ABOUT ME

Lanei is a T-Shaped Product Designer UX/UI & Design Strategist with a background in cognitive psychology and business & finance management. A completely self-taught designer and a life-long learner with a global mindset who loves designing usable and beautiful products that hopefully simplify people’s lives or customer’s decisions.

Her 5+ years of UX/UI hybrid expertise extends across mobile, web, and SaaS designing solutions for direct customers, end-users, and internal staff across various Startups-to-Global Corporates in North America, the EU, and the UK markets. Lanei has a unique skill set of product & design strategy, empathy-driven user research, information architecture, user interface design, and usability testing.

Lanei leads clients in the domain of B2B and B2C from ambiguity-to-clarity by setting the direction that combines user, business, and development goals while leading an autonomous, theory-Y team to be customer-centric.

Lanei is passionately driven by the challenge to create simple, clean intuitive user experiences that deliver impact. Outside of work, she enjoys attending D&I events, running in nature, mentoring others, and baking gooey maple walnut banana loaves in the kitchen (a touch of Canadian soul food).
